What is a Survey Site?
A survey site is a site where you earn money for completing surveys.
There are many different sites of this nature around, and they are all designed so that when you fill in the survey, you are helping different companies with their market research. The survey site will conduct the survey on behalf of the company, and pay you a small amount based on how much they are being paid by the company. The amount you can earn varies hugely with some offering 50p for a survey and others up to £10 for one. The lengths of these surveys can vary a lot too though, and that will usually determine how much you earn for them.
Generally the way it works is after you’ve joined the site, when they have a survey for you to do, they e-mail you to tell you, and send you a direct link for the survey, or ask you to log on to the site where it will give you the survey link. Once you’ve completed the survey, you will either recieve a reward of a gift voucher or amount paid to you by paypal or cheque, or you’ll recieve a credit to your account with that site, which when you reach their minimum payout level you can cash out. This latter is the most common method for survey sites.
